LOCALY GROWN, FAMILY OWNED
Hey! Thank you so much for stopping by to learn a little about our family-operated flower farm just outside of Fort St. John, BC.
What started as a dream of building a small family farm has slowly grown into one of our favourite adventures. Our two little ones, ages 2 and 4, are usually right alongside us helping plant seeds, water flowers, pull weeds, and harvest blooms. It is definitely a family effort around here, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Our flower farm is located about 15 minutes from Fort St. John and is filled with seasonal blooms throughout the summer months. We love creating a space where people can slow down, enjoy the countryside, and experience the joy of fresh-cut flowers.
During the summer, we are open for U-Picks every Wednesday from 5–8 PM, usually from late June through September. We also host fun seasonal events like Paint & Pick nights, Brunch & Blooms, and other special evenings on the farm throughout the season.
We are so grateful to share this little dream with our community and truly appreciate every person who comes to visit, support, and make memories here with us. Be sure to follow along on Facebook to stay updated on blooms, events, and life around the farm!

Cultivating Growth:
In our inaugural year, we are taking intentional steps towards cultivating sustainable and enduring farm practices. While subscription packages and bouquets are on the horizon, for now, we're immersing ourselves in the process of fostering good growth and establishing long-lasting foundations. This means we will not rush to plant so much it effects the quality, but instead slowly grow our garden each year. We believe in taking this new venture slow and deliberately to ensure the best long-term results.
Planting Perennials:
This summer marks the beginning of a long-term investment as we plant perennials that will take 2-3 years to reach full bloom. It's a patient process, but we're confident it will yield blooms that are worth the wait. As our gorgeous shop takes shape this summer, we'll also be preparing to grow fresh flowers from seedlings through the cold months, ensuring a continuous and diverse array of blooms come next spring.
Special Moments at Aurora Valley Bloom:
In our dedication to fostering community connections, we are thrilled to announce that our shop will be available for a maximum of 10 weddings each year. Picture your special day surrounded by the natural beauty of our blossoming farm – an intimate and enchanting setting that reflects the uniqueness of your love story. Our 130 acres of property allows us to offer 3 unique ceremony sites, along with two reception options. Aurora Valley Venues will also provide all the details you may need and all the set up and clean up will be taken care of, for a stress free wedding. As our gardens continue to grow, we will be able to offer bouquets to installations, our team will work closely with you to create a memorable floral experience for your celebration.

Dreaming Big, Growing with Intention
At Aurora Valley Farm, we’ve always believed in dreaming big while building something real, rooted, and connected to our land and community here in Northern BC.
From the very beginning, we planted for longevity. In our first year alone, we planted 300 peonies, 75 hydrangeas, and have since built out roughly 15 long perennial beds and 20 annual production beds (each about 50 feet long). What started as an idea has quickly grown into a working flower farm designed for both beauty and production.
Today, Aurora Valley Farm specializes in event flowers and wedding florals, while still offering seasonal U-Picks and wholesale bridal buckets for florists, planners, and DIY couples. Our focus is on growing high-quality, locally grown blooms that are designed for real celebrations, whether that’s an intimate bouquet, a full wedding installation, or flowers picked straight from the field.
We are especially passionate about creating a welcoming space for our community. Our landscaping and layout was intentionally designed for easy walking pathways and comfotable arranging space in the middle so we can host U-Picks, garden classes and community activities. We are serving weddings and events as well. From curated bridal buckets to full floral design support, we love helping bring meaningful celebrations to life using flowers grown right here on our farm.
Looking ahead, we continue to grow with intention, listening to our community, refining what we grow, and expanding slowly in ways that align with both quality and care. Every season teaches us something new, and we are excited for what is still to come.
Aurora Valley Farm is a place rooted in community, creativity, and shared beauty. Whether you are visiting for a U-Pick, ordering flowers for an event, or planning a wedding with us, you are part of that story.
We are so grateful to grow here in Northern BC and to share each season with the people who support, visit, and inspire us. Together, we are building something that blooms a little more each year.

* I grew up visiting my uncle and aunt on Gabriolla Island and I remember being amazed each summer at how many unmanned stands there were filled with fresh produce, home made pottery etc. They were built on the honour system, you take what you want and leave the cash in a box. I think this beautiful idea filled with trust is something we want to incorporate into our farm. We will have a fresh flower stand up several days a week for you to swing by and pick up something beautiful and just leave the money in the cash box
Reminder that all these photos are a mood board for what is to come and will be updated with our stunning farms photos once the farm is up and operating
