In 2022, we embarked on an exhilarating journey by purchasing this land just outside of Fort St John, fueled by dreams of establishing a thriving farm and embracing every inch of its potential. Our hearts overflow with excitement at the prospect of raising our family here and witnessing the goodness of God in every corner of this blessed plot. With unwavering determination, we've begun planting trees, bushes, and flowers, envisioning a future where these small plants grow into beautiful established landscapes.
We want to take you along on our vision to cultivate not just a farm, but countless spaces to hold your celebration for unique stunning options. Our vision is filled with plans to carve enchanting paths through the forest, build stairs into the hillside, and bask in the beauty of the Peace River.

THE FOREST

At the top section of our forest, you'll discover towering trees and matured growth, offering a majestic backdrop for smaller receptions. After spring rains have dried up any mud, this tranquil setting becomes the perfect canvas for your celebration. We believe in thoughtful preparation for your comfort. That's why we strategically place mosquito pucks in buckets of water throughout the forest and farm, encouraging mosquitoes to lay their eggs in the treated water. This proactive approach has proven effective in minimizing pesky bugs, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors well into the evening without interruption.

However, it's effortlessly transformed into the picture-perfect backdrop for your special day.
With thoughtful consideration, the prep kitchen, initially intended for floral arrangements, can be seamlessly repurposed for your caterer's needs. Multiple bathrooms inside ensure your comfort throughout the evening, sparing you the inconvenience of venturing outside to a rented bathroom station in your elegant wedding attire. At Aurora Valley Farms, every detail is meticulously curated to ensure your wedding day is as flawless and unforgettable as you've always imagined.

While we have so many more dreams for our space, including our large pond used to water the flower farm some day being an additional space to use for a ceremony, and so many plants and trees that we are starting young and will someday grow into the most breathtaking Canadian/European gardens. But we know those things take time and everything Aurora Valley Farm has to offer is already truly a dream come true!
